This morning I went to visit the rh*de isl*nd sch**l of d*sign to do some proofs for my comic. it was mostly good but pretty tedious! I've decided that I'll be working with three colors instead of four, which cuts down on work for me by a lot. registering 4 colors is honestly crazy.
Ok I said I would write about Watermyn but I am making a mental note to finish these later! I am tired and must do more coloring on my comic.Robin and I went to Cape Cod and we walked to an island that had sunk 100 years ago. It's called Billingsgate Shoal and was once a town with a baseball team! But due to erosion it's only visible at low tide these days. We hiked around 8 miles round trip, which was kind of a lot, but my legs feel very buff now? We found a crazy whale skull and ran into some old people who gave us watermelon and potato chips. Afterwards we ate Utz potato chips that were crab seasoning flavored–they are good tbh. I think Utz is really leading the game in potato chip flavors. Anyways, the walk was beautiful and long! I would recommend it, but maybe plan in advance when the tides are low.
Show Last Night
Last night saw Russian Tsarlag, Cryptwarbler, Tayla, and Eve Essex at Lost Bag! It was a sweet show and I talked to Carlos afterwards and bought his comic. I've heard about his work peripherally but it was nice to finally meet him and see his work. Loved his TV set, wasn't super into the live spray paint, but the songs were very nice.
7/17/2024 We're still in a heatwave! tbh I have just been hanging out
in my room which thankfully has AC. I do have good news however.. I've
successfully removed a wart from the bottom of my foot! Sorry if that's TMI
I just wanted to share in case anyone else has gotten a wart and needs to
know how to remove it
Lizard Strike Official Wart Removal Recipe
Make sure you have some isopropyl alcohol on hand.. because did you know
that if you touch a wart you can actually spread it?
Remove the layer of skin on the outside.. with like nailclippers or whatever.
Then take a bandage and put some apple cider vinegar on it, and leave it
on the wart overnight.
Over the next few days clean the area with isopropyl alcohol and trim off
excess skin. The wart should disappear!

Ok other than wart removal I have been working at New Urban Arts, which
has been awesome and very sweet! The students are really great at drawing
and are so nice!
Currently I am working on a comic project and hope to publish this by QTZ
fest in late August.
Ok that's kinda it! My brain is so fried from the heatwave. Until nxt time!

Exyl told me that whenever they eat beef, they start to sweat.
